Hottie Thread

Postby SnappyDragon on Tue Mar 09, 2010 6:09 pm

Because I obviously have no social life and I'm so 'with it', I spend time online looking at photos of fictional characters from children's books! :cutelaugh: I have just finished the 4th HP book and I'm obsessing over Sirius Black. I know, get a life Jennifer, but he's just a damn good character and Gary Oldman is HOT.

I heart Severus Snape aka Alan Rickman, too.

Anyone else have a weird 'crush' on a celebrity?

wasnt' Snape the Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood with Kevin Costner? The only time I've ever liked him was in "Sense and Sensibility" since he played a super sweet guy there. For some reason I can't get into the evil ones (although Snape really isn't evil, just mean)

I will have to find a pic of Channing Tatum. Yum-O!!!!!!

I am pretty sure I have said my celeb crush....its waaaaaayyyyy out of the ordinary. Donny Osmond. I have loved him since I was in about 8th or 9th grade. My sister did 'Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' on Broadway and Michael Damian was Joseph at the time. I met him...super hot. But then I watched the California show and Donny was Joseph. I was hooked ever since. Dont make fun....you know you want Donny too. :winkwinky:

:cutelaugh: I always love the bad guys or the guys who look bad but really aren't! I married a sweet guy, so it's weird that I always like the dark and dirty dudes! Alan Rickman is old enough to be my father, and Gary Oldman is about 15 years older--both are sort of short, too, which isn't something I like. Maybe they are just larger than life!?!?!?!

If I was a character in HP, I would be torn between Severus and Sirius! HEHEHEHEHEH!

Marissa, did your sis only do the show on Broadway, or did she travel? I saw it with Michael Damian but not in New York and LOVED it; I wonder if your sis was in it? I think I would really like it with Donny though.

Shavon, Channing Tatum is in GI Joe and some other dancing flicks. His newest movie is Dear John.

Jennifer, I guess I can see the Gary Oldman thing, just not in HP since he looks CRAZY there  Trying to think what else I've seen him in as I know I saw him before HP

I like the half-crazed look. :winkwinky: Gary Oldman and Alan Rickman are just uber hot older gentlemen, and who doesn't love a British accent. If they were American, I probably wouldn't be so googly eyed about them.

The character of Sirius or even Severus, isn't well developed in the films, but in the books, both are amazing. After reading the HP books, I'm disappointed with the films, only because so much was left out. The films are good, but the books are a 1000 times better.

Marissa, the Donny thing cracks me up, always has! I can see it, though. I mean, come on, I'm the one obsessing over characters in kid's books /films where the actors are old enough to be my father! :rockonsis: Donny was dreamy in his day.

Jennifer, Donny still IS dreamy!
My sister only did the NY shows. She was part of the children's choir that sang on the sides. Oh this is bringing back such amazing memories. Pharoah's Story was my favorite...and I LOVED the narrator part. She was awesome. She was with the Long Island Performing Arts Center. (LIPAC for short :winkwinky: )
I may have to break out the CD now. I really do love the music from it and I am not just being biased!!! I swear!!

Okay, so no one is going to agree that Alan Rickman is hot????? Come one, he's hot as Snape! I know he's old enough to be my dad, but he's uber hot. :winkwinky:
